Gina and I met one summer morning at the sandy shores of Chicago. I was flying a kite, as was she, and then our kites intertwined. She'll probably tell you otherwise, but two kites brought us together.

So the truth is, we met through friends. And between the both of us, I may be a better storyteller, because there were no kites involved in us meeting. In fact, she has never flown a kite in her life. But our first date did take place at Starbucks. We became fast friends and I quickly realized that if you like it, put a ring on it - so I did.
